Immortality - is something everyone strives for. There are various ways to achieve this in chess : Invent a totally new opening (Benko , Pirc etc.) , produce a fundamental endgame algorithm (Lucena , Vancura etc.) or join the grandpatzers by committing some appalling , mindboggling blunder , destined to end up in textbooks. My bid for immortality is to publish my chess compositions for all to see . In truth , they are not much good for anything , but they are mine.
