This is one of the set of 2 interactive puzzles (games really) that are supposed to teach you the concept of opposition. In both cases You are playing against the computer. After reset the initial position is slightly randomized and with perfect play you may defeat the computer.

The game #1 is called 'Go for the gold'. Your target is to reach the gold in the square a1. Computer has the same target. The white king starts from upper north-east corner. You can move him horizontally to west, vertically to south or diagonally to south-west. After your move computer has the same choices. Whoever is first to move to a1 gets the pot of gold.

In the game #2, called 'Treasure Hunt', both kings are present. Your white king seeks to get the treasure buried under f8,g8 and h8. Computer's black king seeks to prevent you from entering to any of these golden squares. Further your efforts are limited to 24 moves. Why 24? For no other reason than that I like the TV-Series *24* ;).
